Really great, so pleased that I decided to go in!! They offer a full menu plus homemade specials which consists of a choice of hot mains a side a choice of salads/veggies. I chose a really delicious, lightly spiced chicken stew, mashed potatoes and broccoli with a balsamic glaze and toasted almonds. It was proper comfort food, definitely homemade and so fresh and tasty. Also recommend the Turkish tea and chocolate brownie cake
My daughter and I had an amazing lunch here - I had smoked haddock, creamed spinach and poached eggs absolutely delicious. My teenager was very happy with a halloumi burger and homemade chips. Everything was fresh and cooked from scratch. We will be back! Thanks.
My wife and I have been eating here frequently for a couple of years now. Their comprehensive menu is packed full of great dishes. The food is excellent and presented brilliantly. Service can sometimes be a little slow but it's always worth the wait. Very cosy and great value for money.
Absolutely amazing cafe! Looks unassuming from the outside looks are very deceptive! There a wide range of food and drink at very accessible price points. Ranges from traditional British, high end modern British and fabulous Turkish food. I had the Turkish breakfast which was huge, varied and delicious. The interior is very clean and comfortable with a choice of tables and comfy armchairs or sofas. The chef cooks by the counter so you can see for yourself how hygienic it is and it’s cooked from scratch. Most of all the staff are unbelievably kind and thoughtful in their service. I was blown away by the whole experience
An amazing cafe that serves delicious nosh. The chicken liver with rice is to die for. Lots of elegant detail and sides make this a delightful meal. Nice cafe area and lovely staff. In short, a great little eatery
Delicious food, great homemade chips, great coffee and excellent service I have a STRONG recommendation: you consider including ayran on the menu. Even as a british person I find it pairs brilliantly with borek and numerous other turkic dishes
Such a lovely cosy cafe with delicious affordable food! It has been renovated since last year we were in and it is such a nice vibe. The food menu is diverse and the coffee is also one of the better ones I’ve tried. The Turkish breakfast was massive, authentic and very yummy.
Booked a table for 12 people for our walking group. We had 22 people turn up for our walk, so I phoned to see if they could change the booking to 23 with an hours notice. They agreed, service was good, food excellent. Fantastic cafe, thank you to all the lovely staff. We will be back.
